What could be better than a banana split? Maybe the perfect snack ever!! A combination of two yummy sweets, ice cream and cookies! In other words, ice cream sandwiches. Even though ice cream sandwiches aren't very popular in Suriname, our home country, they are one of the favorite ice cream treats in the United States. They are so popular that they even have their own day, a special (unofficial) holiday in the US, known as Ice Cream Sandwich Day, which is celebrated every year on August 2.
